'86 GT Suspension- What should i do?
Hello All-
As far as I know, the only suspension changes on my mustang are a 2" lowering kit, and a polymer bushing set. Where should I go for suspension? Subframe connectors? Then what? It has a full rear axle, so I dont have the option of changing lower control arms. I want to keep this car streetable, but am going to run it a drag strip also. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Stick with one company for suspension. I highly recommend Maximum Motorsports products they are the best quality and some of there
parts come with a lifetime warranty as well. I know I have there lower control arms as well as there aluminum rack bushings. I have quite
a bit of $$ into my stang. It is expensive but well worth the cost.

Maximum offers there full legnth subrame connectors weld in. Also you will need struts and shocks because I would imagine the stock ones are worn out.
Also get there rear lower control arm as it will eliminate the wheel hop on launch. If your really serious and want your stang to handle go with there
Torque Arm Panhard Bar setup for the rear as well for the ultimate handling nuts. A strut tower brace will work to help stop the front struts from moving.
I would just install one at a time to see the difference and keep adding if you want later on. Good Luck,
Matt
