Window motor replacement
My drivers side one Died on me. I figuewd out how to get the inerior trim panel off, but I cant figure out how to get to the motor...How would I go about getting to and changing it? So far all ive figured out is how to remove that trim pannel
I recently fixed the power window on my Bronco II. I basically took a look and figured out where I could cut away sheet metal and went to it. Cut away as much of the sheet metal of the door as you can, because getting a hand or wrench into the door is going to be necessary.
If the motor is the same as the one on my Bronco, then all you should have to replace is the crappy plastic gear. Here's an article about doing that:

Worked like a charm on my BII.

I;m new here, first post. I'm having the same issue with my 99 Mustang driver side window. Not sure what year yours is but I don't think you need to cut sheet metal to get to the motor. It was a pain in the *** but I got the old motor out but I can't get ther windows guides back in the tracks. But anyway you should be able to access the mounting screws for the motor through the sheet metal. There should be holes where the bolts are located, use a deep well socket. If anyone knows how to get the guides back into the tracks please share the info, thanks.
