Default lower in back

My car was lowered by the previous owner. The front of the car sits lower than the rear. It's a problem for me to drive at night because people think I'm driving with my brights on. Is there a simple, inexpensive way to fix this problem?

I can't believe I'm replying to my own post. The back of the car is lower than the front, so obviously the lights are pointing higher than normal. Sorry for the confusion.

Usually when you lower a car the front is a lil lower than the back, either thats the case where he lowered the car more in front or the shocks might be bad. I'd have a local shop take a look at it to be sure...

Does your car bounce a lot. If so it is a shock that has gone out. Usually the shocks start leaking before they go out.

shocks aren't likely gonna effect the ride height by more than a few centimeters, if its that bad then look into springs.

yea if the back is lower, id fix it to atleast be equal with the front if not a little higher. it looks better with the rear a little higher than the front but not too much. do you know what kit, if any, the previous owner used to lower the car?

Thanks to everybody for the responses. I do not know what kit was installed. I'll probably take the car in to the shop for a quick look. Wonder what that will cost me!!

I'd love to have the rear slightly higher than the front, but don't want to put major $$$ into it until summer. The ride isn't any worse than my buddy's car that isn't lowered, so I think the shocks are ok.

Well for a temporary fix they have spacers to put on the springs to make the car higher. They sell them at every autoparts store. There like $5 bucks. For the lights you might want to aim them down a bit with the aligning thinamajig.
