I got a 94 cobra and last night the clutch started slipping . i'm pretty sure it ain't the clutch, but i was wondering how could u find out if it was low on fluid or what was wrong w/ it

 

its a cable clutch, not hydraulic.

 

so is there ne way to adjust the clutch to where i can prolong the life of it , until i get the money for a new clutch in about a week?

 

if its slipin its ganna need replaced

 

clutch is self adjusting, push down then pull up on the clutch pedal to help it adjust itself if it needs it. if that don't work then either your plastic clutch quadrant is stretching or you've just got a bad clutch / plate.

 

joe...have you checked you blinker fluid?...might also want to tell this guy about it

 

the fluid is fine, maybe a muffler bearing though... tough to diagnose a problem over the net [&:]

 

yall are just some true comedians. Maybe i might install some canooter valves on it and a 100 shot of blinker fluid.
