car trouble attention auto techs......
hi my other car is a 1996 chrysler concord. it was running great until the other day. it starts up and runs smooth but stutters and dies once you press the gas even the slightest.
when i do start it and dont press the gas down it runs for about a min then dies.
wtf?
anyone got any ideas?

Could be a host of things.
On my Eclips I had the same problem and it turned out to be the computer.
But again though, it could be a couple of things. Just take it in. A decent mech can TS it in under 5 minutes I'm sure.

sounds mass air related to me...like its losing air somewhere so it cant run good and then dies
how's he gonna take it in if it dies every 2 mins???

Unplug the Mass air sensor, if it smooths out and you can gas it then you know thats it.

If its the CPU cant he disconnect the battery to reset it also?
IF ( a big if) its the PCM, then removing the battery terminals will do nothing. If you have a fried circuit, then unplugging the battery and putting back on will do absoluty nothing.
