if anyone is useing royal purple oil, can you tell me if you like it or is it a bust. thanks

 

It's good oil but in all reality no better than conventional IF you keep up on your oil changes. My car never, ever sees more than 3000 miles on a oil change no matter what oil is in it. In theory if you were to change all your fluids (oil, rear gear lube, trans etc) over to a full synthetic like Royal Purple you MIGHT see a hp or two gain.

 

mobil 1 is also good oil... rp might be better. i don't know. but i only use fully synthetic.
not sytec or that kinda crap. that's not synthetic.
