My check engine light is on? Is there any auto parts store that will run the codes for me or is there a way i can do it? does anyone know a product or technique to remove surface scratches? would this ebayunderdrive pulley work for my 94 lx vert( how big of a hp increase and how hard is it to put in?

autozone for the codes, meguires 3-step for small scratches, depending on size of u/d pullry reduction determines hp increases.

awwww !!!!!!! i paid 40$ at a shop once for that? would they be able to checka air bag light i was told it was a different computer

You can check your own with the 92. Not 100% sure about the 94 though. I don't have the exact steps to do, but you just need a jumper wire and a test light. Do a search and I'm sure you can find it.

Behind the right shock tower, toward the firewall, there is a plug with a cap marked EEC test on it. There is a large plug and a small one attached inside the cap. All you need to do is to jump a paper clip from one of the terminals on the large plug to the smaller one. The exact terminals are shown in my Haynes which I don't have with me. Then all you do is turn the key on and watch the engine light...it will blink the codes out.

Here where I live, it costs $80.00 for any repair shop to pull the code. I have my own OBD II sensor and its paid for itself over and over.
