Hey all, I found a mint pony/bar dash emblem at a junk yard today and picked it off the dash of a crashed 92 fox( I was so sad to see it crashed. Thing must have rolled like 3x

Anyway whats the best way to adhear it to the dash? glue, tape, Super Glue? Im putting it on the dash of my 07 so I dont want it to peal off the dash if I ever sell and want to keep it the emblem.. thanks

 

Double sided tape. Holds all the logos on those Harleys you see blasting around everywhere. If it can take heat and vibration like that, I'm sure it will stick your dash emblem just fine . If you ever want it back a little heat (blowdryer) will soften up the tape. "Goof Off" will remove any adhesive left after removal.

well I used 3m double sided tape. I think it looks good. It's a small pony/bar emblem but it's just enough to dress up the dash without over doing it. I took a few pictures but they didnt come out good and it looks much better in person then in a pic.

No sweat. Got another emblem ? I'd like to model the anniversary emblem that came on the 89 1/2's. I've got an '89 and think the dash emblem is real sharp, would love to have one on mine. Gonna check with Ford and see if they can get me one. Glad to hear it worked out well for you. Don't mess up your bumper staring at your shiny, gorgeouspony on the dash

Nope those are hard to find. What I found for $8 on ebay was a pony/bar hat pin. I broke off the pin in the back and filed it down smooth so the whole back is one nice even peice. It's a little smaller then the 89-93 dash emblems but it lookks fine. I'll upload a pic, it's not the best but it looks good
