Without changing anything else? Probably good for 15-25 hp and more torque than that, probably 30-40ft-lb or so. I doubt you'll find any real answers, since most upgrade the heads/cam/intake at the same time.

you pay for what what you get.
if your really on a budget the patriot heads are gonna be best for you.
for the price they flow good. i think their right around 900 for both assembled
but if you want real power get afr or canfield heads, those go for about 1400 assembled for both.
with my 347 setup with all new top end ill be aiming for 400 to the wheels.

so a 302 with the 347 stroker kit from jegs and the right heads a cold air intake, bigger injectors, maf sensor, headers, off road h pipe, flowasters, throttle body with spacer, high performance upper and lower intake manifold im looking at well over would i be in the 400-450 or 450-500 range? then when i save enough to get a supercharger what am i looking at. i know its ipossible to say exactly i just looking for a general idea so i have something to look forward to. i just spent $$$ getting my stock transmission overhauled so its going to be a while but i want to keep this car forever so i have a while.

no why do you think it would be necessary? the 347 stroker kit im talking about i could just bring my block to get bored .30 over the rebuild it completely custom with all new components from the block up. i guess it would be smart because i wont have the money all at once so it would be a slow process i wouldnt want the car to not be drivable. so ill probably get another block and build it from the the bottom up with all custom parts do they make a 347 block? or would it have to be a 302 block and get it bored out. i am really excited to get this project going and i appreciate everyones input its goin to be a great project. i going to look into the complete build cost and post it up.

Remember the 347 may need some block clearancing to make room for the longer stroke.

on a budget build i wouldnt aim for too much more then around 350-400 to the wheels on a 347, if you really wanna dump money into it and get a good set of heads, custom cam, nice intake, good exhaust, etc...your gonna spend a good chunk of money around the $5,000 range with machining tuning etc...but u can get in the upper 400's or higher. horse power is nothing but money + time + knowledge

awww.....young skywalker you have much to learn

400rwhp is a WELL BUILT 347. anything around the 500rwhp with a 302 block you starting to drive a ticking time as the blocks split
