Default HEADLIGHTS

Is there a website or link that would show the procedures for removal and installing the headlamp assembly for a 03 GT?

Thanks
Tim

are you talking about the headlight mounting bar (the bar that goes across the whole front of the car) or just the headlights themselves?

The lens covers are all pitted out and I want to replace the whole assembly…seen some good deals on Ebay but looking at getting them out doesn’t look easy!

The headlight assemblies themselves are cake walk.
Pop your hood. Look along the back/top side of the headlight. you'll see two little black tabs on top of each headlight. Pull these tabs straight up(they are actually long slender bars). That's all that holds the headlight in. Once you have the bars off,the headlight straight forward (away from the car). Viola! done.

It's the part labeled #2 in the diagram above.

yeah lol its simple, pull the 2 metal pegs on each headlight (you should be able to see em sitting right on top) and the headlight will come free. then theres a plug for the headlight bulb and turn signal with tabs on the sides, squeeze those and pull the plug out of the headlight. then unscrew your bulb if you buy OEM's and need the light housings. it takes 1 min or less to remove each headlight.
