I WANT TO GET A SMOG LEGAL EXHAUST FOR MY 99 GT MUSTANG. BUT I DONT KNOW WHAT TYPE OF EXHAUST TO GET. I HEAR A LOT OF DIFFERENT THINGS ON THE STREET BUT, I'D LIKE TO KNOW WHICH IS BETTER OR THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN H PIPE OR AN X PIPE AND WHICH BRAND IS GOOD ONE? THANKS

 

I recommend Magnaflow X and catback. Works well for me and passed emissions with no problems. (texas)

 

I run headers with Magna catted x pipe and Mac Cats. My emmissions were lower that stock! The X pipe and Cats will give you 14 rear wheel horse power. Add long tubes and you'll get 11 more rwhp. It is one of the best combinations for the 4.6 2V engine. It also sounds very authoritive with a robust race engine tone. You'll set off car alarms when you drive down the block!
