I have a rebuilt 351w sitting at my house and i drive a 90 lx 2.3 with almost 160k miles on it and it still runs good but its just too slow and im tired of those annoying imports messing with me on my way home from work.i know theres alot of little things to consider but im just asking for any advice on doing it.dont tell me id be wasting my time and to just buy a 5.0 car because i love this car to much to get rid of it.

 

ive read other post about people doing the same thing but i just need to know what it takes to get the motor in and get the car moving.

 

You need a tranny for that engine, plus motor mounts maybe a K member swap, a much bigger cooling system & stiffer front springs to take the extra weight, That's a start

Oh and before you do anything,, check around your bylaws where you live,, be sure your car with a swapped engine will pass local emmisions laws. If it doesn't you won't be able to get a licence for it & have wasted your time/money
