Default Reverse the Hood?

I like the way that some cars' hoods open up toward the front of the car. I was wondering if anyone has done it yet, or know of any kits to do it.

It would just take some fab to reverse and reposition the hinges, then reposition the latch near the cowl. I think the hardest part would be maintaining the stock release cable and mech. Thats what I think

I've never seen a full kit to do that. But you can probably buy universal hinges that will need to be custom fabbed to work. And then you gotta reposition the release mechanism too.

Next time you see a guy at a show with that sort of hood,, ask him questions! Guys are usually proud to talk about what they've done

I found a site selling the hinges. But they are expensive there. THe hinges themself were like $400, and the motorized hood lift was almost $1000. Any other ideas?

Yea sure, how good are you at fabricating? Go to the wreakers & cut out some hinges from another car ("any car" not just a Mustang) that look like they'll do the job and graft them onto your car. This is what hotrodders have done for decades, customized their car with cheap parts. People today get lost on this concept,, we live in a world of guys who customize their cars by writing checks lol
