DOES ANYONT HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THE TINT PERCENTAGE FLORIDA COPS HAVE ON THEIR CARS?

 

From what Ive seen , its 5% , its the same % i have on my car ; which is illegal for citizens. I beleive we can have a maximum of 15 % tint. Depending where u are in FL, Im in Northern Orlando area

 

At the time I had my tint done on my DD, there is no limit for % on tint in FL. The only thing is that the windshield has a limit, which I can't remember what it is. But on all other windows it is limitless. This is speaking from almost 5 years ago though.

 

Police don't have tint, only special units and undercover might have it.. Limo, 5% film, less % with glass. In districts they can actually afford tint, they will have either 35% or 20% film on regular patrol cars.

To be legal, you can't go bellow AS1 line on windshield, front windows must not be bellow 35%, and rear windows must not be bellow 20%..

Do know that if you put 35% film up front and 20% film in the back the combined luminescense or whatever with glass will be less, and you'll measure about 22% and 11%..

I know guys who have 20% all around, and they drive fine, don't get stopped.. You better drive nice and be not suspecious and don't drive in bad neighborhoods during bad hours, otherwise you are giving police a reason to pull you over..

I'd go for 35% tint all around, perhaps even 50% or more.. That way I'm protected from UV when needed and other drivers can admire me or whatever.. Ever noticed how really hot womenon really nice cars don't do this tint stuff? They like the attention, and would nottint this source of attention out, after all they are not ugly or unattractive. Adopt the same mentality. Dark tint says you're an UG and it attracts attention from police for all the wrong reasons.
