i just acquired an electric fuel pump for my 83. How can I wire it so it wont run continuous with the key at the on position or back for accessories?

 

I think you can hook a contacter up to anything that only comes on when you what your fuel pump to come on. Then you get you power from the battery and put in a inline fuse. It that will not work for you, you could just put a on /off switch inline to the power. I don't think I would do that. Your fuel pump would not turn off if you crash and burn. Maybe its not to safe.
