Im doing the clutch and gears next week in my 83.at only 300hp is it worth it to go to a performance clutch like kevlar?Also what is the preference for gears? Its a stock 7.5. will 3.73 make the gas mileage suck or should I go to 3.55 and be un happy with performance?
my wife will kill me if the gas mileage is to bad!

 

I would go with 3.55's personally. 3.73's might be steep for what youre looking for in a 5.0. I would not put stock back in thats for sure. I think the happy medium youre looking for is a King Cobra clutch.

 

Im not familliar with the king cobra clutch. Why that that one?
