Passanger Door Flaking?

Passanger Door Flaking?
My 1987 Mustang has rust on the passanger door it is on the bottom half of the door it is flaking and i dont think i can bondo it because i think its just gunna keep rusting i need a new door but i like the paint job on it it looks white but has that pearl in it and i like it i was wonder if anyone knew what type of paint job it is

The blue one is the one taht got stoling from my brother and had too much horsepower for them to handle and crashed it into a pole only stole the radio!!!
