I plan on getting a LSD real soon with some new gears. I was just wondering what the best kind of LSD would be for my application, street use and good stop light traction. I dont want to have to change the thing every month or so if i beat the ever loveing crap out of it (i wont beat on it all the time so im not really worried). Should i go with a Detroit Truetrac, a cone Style or Clutch type LSD. I have a c4 and a 78 302 in my 67 mustang, so what kind of gears should i get with my LSD to get some good acceleration and still get 8+ mpg highway. I would also like to get to 120mph but if i cant with the gear and tranny combo il just avoid being a hot-head on the highway, the acceleration is the biggest issue with me.
