Default craftsman torque wrench

ok guys, i JUST bought a brand new torque wrench from sears. 150 ft lbs max and its a clicker type.

except one thing, i feel like an idiot asking, but how do i set it up for the 1st time? is there anything i have to take off. because i cant seem to set it to anything. ive always used the school's torque wrenches.

ive been sitting here for a while, and im starting to get pissed, and i want to throw it at the tv. so help me out guys.

that makes **** too easy though

most of the toruqe wrenches in my shop have a metal band that you slide up then you can twist the handle. judging by the pic of that wrench im looking at on google it looks the same. the little ring at the top of the handle try pushing it up with your thumb then you should be able to twist the handle. if not read the directions

Craftsman uses a twist lock just above the main part of the handle. It has arrows that say "lock" and "unlock."
