Default Heat extractor hood + waterSo

So the hood has the heat extractor openings which are basucally just cutouts in the hood are these gonna do ok in snow/rain?

Got a picture of the hood you're concerned about? It's easier to get water into the bay, but you're not going to see enough to really hurt the engine.
