Hey guys whats a good shift point to start at, 4.6 super charged mustang 5 speed, I have not been to the track in over 20 years and plan on hitting it this Sunday for test and tune, I know my times are going to suck but I am bringing my best friends son who run a dragster and an 8 second camaro... so he will give me some pointers and run the car also...

So where sould I set my shift light to start at?

i would say a few hundred rpms before redline because it is better to shift a tiny bit early then bounce off the rev limiter. but goodluck at the track and have fun!
