Default 94 Cobra clutch cable

I am having problems with the the clutch cable in my 94 cobra, the original cable got so stretched out it would no longer adjust, so I replaced with a UPR cable quadrant and fire wall adjuster. This cable broke about 6 months later, so I got a new cable from UPR, that one broke in one month. So I replaced the cable and quadrant with another manufacturer (can't remember which one), that cable broke at the plastic insert into the transmission about 5k miles later. Now I have a BBK cable installed with the UPR quadrant and firewall adjuster and I don't know exactly how to adjust it, I think maybe I'm adjusting them to tight and that is why they keep breaking.

Default RE: 94 Cobra clutch cable

That's a possibility. The OEM Ford cable is significantly stronger than the aftermarket ones though and I believe you should be able to use it with the after market quadrants with little or no problems.
