I would recommend you get a seat with the slots in them for a 5 point harness so that the shoulder belts sit down on your shoulders properly which is hard to do with a stock style seat. Why are you looking at installing a 5 point harness???

I assume as your fitting a 5 point harness you are first installing a roll-cage?! if not then cage first!

you could always go to a local harware store and buy some bungee cord (the kind that you can buy by the foot, and very small dia.) and you can wrap it around the 5pt. harness and atound the headrest post to keep them in place over your shoulders. And defently install at least a 4pt cage before the belts. There is a lot of info on the web about useing 5pt seatbelts and where the proper monting pts are. If you have not done it yet do all the reasearch you can before buying and useing 5pt belts, but you will defently need a cage of some kind.

Not anymore they don't. I was recently looking for cheap, light seats from Summit and they said they don't sell the cheap seats anymore.

BTW, a 5 point harness without a rollbar equals DEATH WISH!!

hey dont forget you can not run your shoulder belts to the floor, in an accident when you go foward, the belts pull down and then you bust the disc in your spin, thats just my 3 cents, you need a roll cage.

The only way you can do this is if you have the cross bar at shoulder height mounted to the roll bar in the car, then it is ok to mount the belts to the floor at the factory mounting points. The reason this is ok with the bar is that the bar redirects the action of you going forward and the belts pulling down, instead of pulling down directly on your shoulder and compressing your spine, it pulls down on the bar and the bar directs the motion forward like it is supposed to be. Sorry for the long post but wanted to clear this up some more.
