Default Heating and A/C Vents Misbehaving

I have a 94 Coupe, with a 6 cyl engine. Two weeks ago, the heat and a/c vents to the floor and dash quit working. The fan still blows fine, but only to the dashboard and side windows. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thx Tom

So does it only blow out the defrost. Check the vacuum source for the mode switching control.

Pro...yes, it only blows out of defrost vents. But unfortunately, I'm not a mechanic here...the drawing isn't helping...can you tell me in plain English what to look for? At the switch? In engine compartment? Both? Wires?Vacuum lines? Both? Thx Tom

Never mind...I fixed it...a small black vacuum hose from the engine compartment to the fan switch had broken...fixed it and reconnected it...works like a champ. I LOVE it wen I can avoid spending $200 for a 25 cent repair.
