Hey guys. I couldn't find a similar post anywhere, and need some help. I just picked up an 89 LX with 4.10s. Atleast that's what I was told. Anyhow, the speedometer is off by about 15mph. 15mph faster that is. I'll be doing 45 and the speedo reads 60'ish. I know there's plastic gear like things you're supposed to put in when putting gears in. The prob is, I can't seem to find any. Anyone know where I can get one and maybe a part number? Thanks

 

www.johnsmustang.com has a few of the gears. You'll need to find out what size gear you have now, then calculate the ratio to bring your speed back to 1000rpm @ 60mph.
