you know that dinging that you get when you've got the door open that slowly drives you insane...whats the easiest way to get that to stop?

can i simply disconnect something or do i need to splice some wires togeather?

You can probably yank out the chime module that makes the dinging sound. But then again, isn't it that same module that warns you if you open the door with the engine off but the headlights are still on? That warning I find useful.

I tint windows and when I tintedmy 88 mustang Gt i taped the button down by the hinge to stop the ring while I tinted it. Yea, you are right, that ring will drive you crazy.
