im gonna race my buddy for some money this weekend... his car is a 2000 gt automatic with flow cat back... my car is a 95 gt 5-speed l/t headers, o/r x-pipe, flows dumped, and underdrive pulleys
who do you think will come out on top? we will go from a dig, a slow roll and probably 40

 

ehhh...im gonna say you should win if all he has done to his car is a catback (5 hp or so). his car is an auto with 3:27's you got a 5sp with 2:73's so well say the gears are about even. he will take you off the line bieng an automatic but you should catch him. roll you should pull on him (autos suck on a roll). should be a really cloes (drivers) race

 

Ibet your buddy's 2000 GT will win all three races.

 

i say 2000GT you might have a chance if your shifting is near perfect and you get a good launch.

 

im gonna say the 2000 gt will win since the 5.0 is equivelant to the npi 4.6 so he has a better power increase already.

 

2000 gt will win , from a dig or a roll .
