I was wondering what car you guys would bet on winning. My girlfriend has a 2003 ford mustang Gt automatic with 40,000 miles that is all stock. I have a 94 mustang gt 5 speedwith the folling mods:

engine with 85,000 miles on it (runs like new, ALL sensors replaced)
Msd ingnition box and coil
msd wires
bbk cold air intake
bbk catted off road h-pipe with flowmasters
bbk u/l control arms
new spark plugs (iridium, I know, next time I will give the autolites a try)
phenolic intake spacers


I know its not much, but I just want to know honestly which one will win. My girlfriend just doesn't want to race it but I would like to know if anyone has ever tried this match before.

 

Probably be pretty close race I predict.

she will win. your only power mods are a CAI and flowmasters (catback is near worthless as far as power is concerned)with....wait....a catted off road h pipe? off road means it has no cats.

 

I think she's got you by a couple tenths, rough I know.

 

The '03 should win this race by a decent margin.

 

Thanks, that is what I kinda figured. I have driven hers and mine and it seems like it would be a close race in town but the 03 is definitely WAyyyy faster on the freeway.
