Default 02 GT VS 96 TA

hey i have a 02 gt my friend has a 96 ponitac firebird. its the ls1 only mods he has is flow master ehuast that we know of on this car, he just got it. im installing 410's, mac long tubes, off road h pipe connected to magnaflow exhuast. with valuant air intake.. i 'm also installing a 100 shot of nos... so that one is a given.. it will also have tune... what u guys think my car will do with out the gas??? against his firebird!!!!

without the spray you will get crushed... with the spray you will beat him ls1's are fast

Did he do an engine swap cause '96 Firebirds didn't come with LS1s.

If he's an LT1, which is what I suspect, with all the mods you're talking about doing you'll destroy him. They only made about 275hp to the flywheel. LS1's weren't available in the Firebird until 98 i believe.

ya ya ya im sorry i can't believe i said thathe has the lt1. no he hasn;t done the motor swap!! that what i was wondering stock my car is rated 265 and i beleive he's to be 275-285. so ya... i just know i can't let that car out run my car.... i thnk'n i can take um with out the gas more fead back guys??

Just with the 4.10's and the driver mod you'll have him. But with the exhaust you'll definitely have him. With the spray you're putting bus lengths.

oh i was just playn about that.... but my dyno guy told me that the long tubes won't add horse power until i add engine up grades we haven't dynoed the car yet... but i was thinkn id get a litttle horse power gain out off em.... wouldn't ya think???? any body elses opion on ta vs gt???

lol...exhaust doesnt really do $hit on a stock motor.
