Yea these threads are on here all the time and this is another on. It relates to the thread what Oil is good for my stang. So I was reading it and I have no brand loyalties so bash all you want but I use Castrol Syntec and there is a post on there that says that it isnt full syn. I dont know I am just going to ask. I figure they are proably full of it but I have to know.

it's full synthetic unless it says "synthetic blend"

i use castrol or mobil 1 usually

 

wow.. so many oil threads.
funny how on the syntec msds it says nothing about synthetics, but does mention highly refined oils as a base...
but on the website castrol claims they are the first company to produce a full synthetic oil, blah blah blah. something along those lines. but it doesn't say anywhere that syntec is fully synthetic.

unlike the mobil1 msds, which states it uses a synthetic base

i use mobil1 fully synthetic.

 

mine says 100% synthetic
