Ok well it all started a couple of weeks ago when i took my car to get my oil changed. I told the people to also change the air filter. Anyway, here lately my gas milage has SUCKED!.. Normally i get 50+ on a 1/4 of a tank. Now im only getting about 30 and right now i have only 55 miles on this tank of gas and it is almost half way empty.Also when i start it after it is warm (sometimes) it will just want to die and teh RPM's are really low and the motor shakes. Today i started it and when it was cranking to start it just stopped got quiet and then VRUUUUMM!.. started.. wierd... what could be wrong...?... Bad gas?

 

Have the ECM checked for codes at Advance or Autozone (free service) and repost.

It could just about be anything if you had your oil changed at one of the many CRAP shops (Jiffylube,Walmart,etc.) They are just trying to make as fast a buck as they can and most don't have anyone other than drop-outs or near drop-outs working for them.

 

Check the air filter.

 

Could be the IAC also? Right guys?

 

just check the tube s and see if anything is not connected somtimes things get knocked loose


and for "chopper" i work a a ford dealership changing oil and i resent that statment about them olny having drop out's iam a B student and i work at one

 

any cel codes? this could be a bunch of things really...
