There's a thread about Cobra tick on the SVT forum. Your tick sounds a little different to me though. Let us know what you found.

 

I'd be interested too as a kid / guy is trading me his '95 Mustang 3.8 v6 for a '85 Vw Scirocco 8v which I can't go too bad with.....

I was first thinking it was the SVT timing chain problem, but I guess the 3.8's are push rod cam type and not over head cam.

I might convert it to a 4 cammer or fix it and trade up for a v8 gt and then the 4 cammer but....?

I want a fast street legal road / track racer .....
