The importance of backpressure?
I have a straightpipe from header back, and the car has like NO bottom end anymore but a bit more noticeable top end above 3k rpm
but as mentioned i do get fire out the back between shifts and when decellerating
and it sounds bad.....

i had a 3.8 and i had straight pipes at first. it wasnt enough backpressure and sounded like **** too. i had to put in an x-pipe and the car ran great! i also had it predator tuned though once i opend exhaust up and that made a big difference. the car was keeping up with stocks gts. then i built the motor way up and yea it was a v6 that was fast as hell
