Default aluminum 4.6

i have an 02 gt will a engine out of a older mark VIII work its a 4.6 what do i need to look for and how do i tell if its a r orw block

i dont think your going to get anything useful. i found a dirt cheap mark8 motor and wanted to see if i could drop it in mine but i found no useful information on the swap, and the only successful swap i saw was 2 years ago and the guy doesnt use those forums anymore. use the search button youll find a whole lot of nothing. if it was a worthwhile swap and easy to do it would be well known by now.

and btw ive heard that the mark8 motors arent good to use anyways because their internals are pretty crappy and dont net a whole lot more power than a 2v motor. the mark8 motor is 280/280 we are 260/305

some one told me it would be a great swap and it was the same as a cobra bottom end also they said it could handle 1,000 hp. what year was the mark VIII motor you were gona use? They said i might need a diffrent timing cover also my need to drill one coolent passage
