Does oil additives work and what do they do? Im mainly talking about the Lucas Oil additives. what are the additives suppose to do?
This also goes for the fuel additives and the fuel injection cleaner, the ones made by STP or LUCAS? Im not talking about the octane booster, the other stuff that clanes the injectors and makes the car run better.Does it work/ help your car?

 

I don't used oil additives..hell your oil is full of additives..as for gas treatment I only use BG PRODUCTS fuel injection cleaner

 

so the fuel injection cleaners work or some of them do what are some brands to stay away from?

 

the cheap one's you buy do nothing that gasoline doesn't do with thier additives

 

i use stp fuel system cleaner every once and a while. used it all the time in my ranger

 

amsoil or any ther synthetic oil, and BG fuel cleaners are the ONLY way to go!!!

 

I had no luck with Lucas but when i used Amsoil it actually help bring my oil pressure up, so i was pleased

 

AMSOIL is AMAZING

 

I don't know, lucas has been in the racing business for who knows how long, and their products are among the most recommended, but I'll give the others a try too, I guess it can't hurt, I hope...
