Oil Filter Boss

Oil Filter Boss
I recently purchased a 1968 289 which had been stored outside without an oil filter attached. rain &dust entered the two oil ports so badly that the oil pump impeller was was seized with rust .
I was able to clean the rust out the port from the pump to the filter, but I would like to remove the Filter Boss and replace it, as it is rusted pretty badly as well and removing it should facilitate easier access to the oil gallery port behind it.
Trouble is; Nobody I have spoken withcanfindone in their books, and I don't want to remove it unless I have one in hand to take it's place.
Also: The one I have, has a round base (not hex), I havebeen told that it isscrewed inand not pressed in, I heard something about that not being done since the early sixties. And removing it can be accomplished with a couple of jam nuts on the threaded pipe section and backing it out.
Thank you for any helpful hints.
