Quick Question:


How much tranny fluid does the pan hold on a '99 v6 auto? I know this won't be an exact figure, but I'm just looking for the ballpark.

I only ask becasue I pulled my pan today to just change the filter. I drained all the fluid out of the pan, and when I went to refill it said it was full at 2 quarts, which doesn't seem right to me.

the car has to be running to check tranny fluid you know that right??

 

Car warmed up, shifted through the gears, left it in neutral, and checked while running. 2 quarts made it full. Still scratching head...
