I have a 2002 SVT Focus 255 lb fuel pump will this work correctly for my 2003 GT? My question is the sending unit / placement with this pump does not go all the way to the bottom of the tank. Do you have to do something differently with this install? i do not want to have to fill my tank everytime it gets to half way point.

The whole sending unit does not get installed. Take the actual pump out and swap it into your stock sending unit.
