Default Painted stripes

Going to be repainting the hood in the spring cause I had a car bra that basicaly killed the paint under it. anyway here is a pic of what I am thinkin of doing and a before pic. Basicaly Looking for opinions on this.

It would look cool if done properly.......but you could get the looks of that picture if you give a 5 year old a can of black paint! LOL, just yankin your chain man, I do think it'd look good. hmmmm....did you consider silver? That may be different and cool.

I did it on MS paint to to get a idea lol. Thought about silver but think the tela color wouldnt go to good with silver. Figured black to match the top.

Yea that kinda looks like the factory70's Boss 302 Mustang stripe pattern. Look up some of those cars & you can see some better ideas which way to go.

I would do some stripes but how about just painting the raised parts of the scoops?
How about instead of painting the inside of the panels in front of the scoop opening,just spraying the raised portions on the outside.Kinda' like a highlight to draw attention,not to overpower the front of the car.
I would stop the stripes before they got to the bumper also.
I have never been a fan of the stripes runningoff the side of the hood onto the side of the car either.

The color (black) is OK in my book for the stripes but my thinkinghas always been "less is more".
