Default Friction Modifier

I want to change the rear end lube in my '85 Mustang GT with LSD. Do I add the old XL-7 additive or the newer XL-3? I have both.

Default RE: Friction Modifier

If the servce manual calls for it then do it.
I can't see harm in putting it in.

I am sad to say my 89 GT 150K miles with me
putting on 75K had never a trans or rear end fluid
change. I think I would have helped the new owner
by changing it at least once. But for $1800 he got
a good deal.
