bushing squeak tips?
one of my urethane front control arm bushings is squeaking, and I know that I greased the hell out of them when I installed them, it was such a pain to get them in, I know its a long shot, but anyone have a trick to possiblystop the squeaking without taking it out of there?

RE: bushing squeak tips?
If you can get to the A frame housing where the middle of the bushing is, drill a hole and tap it for a grease zert and grease the hell out of it. If you can't tap it, get a needle (tappered)tip for your grease gun and just hold it in the hole and grease.
Is the bushing turning, or is it the inner sleeve?
If the inner sleeve is moving then drill the hole to it, Not through it! If it was a 2 piece bushing you only need to drill through the housing.

RE: bushing squeak tips?
a couple thoughts..................
when i change oil i use a oil can and apply a small amount of oil on the inner bushings and the sway bars mounting points to help with that problem, another problem for squeaks have been the struts also, i have had to oil the shafts and that really makes no sense but one creaks when you turn and a small amount of oil and that problem is fixed, that is how i fixed my problems with all my fox body cars
