I have a '97 4.6 gt and about 115,000 miles on the car. Just recently I have been getting this strange noise coming from the front end that happens right after the acceleration. Its sometimes makes a metallic sound and other times its a rumbling sound. All my gauges show ok and the noise hasnt gotten any louder, but more frequent. Any ideas?

That is what happened to my friends car. He jacked it up and saw that he just ahd some loose nuts on his struts, it also could be your ball joints. But it also could be your cv_ joint that connects the transmission that also can be making that noise.
