Default Whats a good way to burp radiator?

this is the way i did it, dont know if its right.

jacked the frontend of the car up as far as i could, unscrewed the radiator cap.

turned the engine on and let it run for 10 min until the coolant got a lil warm, monitored the tempy and watched for bubbles...

any other effective way?

I don't think you need to worry about the 5.0 in that regard. I never have. I just fill 'er up run it a bit and refill, then fill the overflow tank and it's good to go. I never had a problem.

I had my 82 capri overheat cause of air in the water pump, all I do now is fill it up, and with the upper hose off the intake side pour the coolant in there, then squeeze the bottob rad hose and it'll burp it out.
I had to do this a couple of times before all the air was out.
hope this helps.
