Whats a good way to burp radiator?
I had this problem after i installed a new cooling system cause my mustang would overheeat all the time last summer cause of the old one not overheat but get to hot. I pulled the cap off had the radiatior topped off started the stang and squeezed the top radiator hose and shoved a garden hose in the radiator and squeezed the hose until i burped the air pocket out of the system.
not everywere but make a lil mess lol crimp the hose like put a crease in it and let it flow once it's in the radiator cause the pressure along with squeezing the upper radiator hose should help I had a huge air pocket in my system and thats how i got it out just added some coolant afterwards it didnt get everywere when i did it just on the driveway. But that is what worked for me my friend showed me how cause i was stumped becuae with the new system it was running warm and he worked at a shop and some lady had the same problem i had after she had new cooling stuff installed and after me and him put my stuff in it was still getting warm and thats the trick his boss showed him so we did that and it took care of everything.
no fats, i dont know why its running a lil warm and couldnt drive her yet because i just got outta surgery. gonna wait a few more days till i can drive to figure out what it is.
on another note, when i changed the oil about 4 days ago i noticed the oil filter weighing a ton after i poured the oil out. so it may have starved my engine and caused an overheating. thing is even with new oil and filter its still running warm when i last checked. but in a few days ill fire her up and check the timing.
i still cant pinpoint the problem though.

I would say air pocket cause you have a new water pump and thermostat so unless your radiator is clogged i am not sure. My radiator the stock one was crap the previous owner hadnt changed the coolant when i got it in 2003 for 5 years the radiator had chunks on the walls or green and white ish coolant it was discusting looked like mold so i bought a whole new cooling system. But i would say airpocket most likely.
