if i put new after market gears in my 7.5 rear with a mini spool will it hold to a high 11 low 12 car with a 5 speed and maybe some strange axles..since the 8.8 and 7.5 axles are the same

 

i beleive so yes they can handle 500 hp?

 

the 7.5 rear axle housing is not near as strong as the 8.8 axle housing and I would not waste time and money putting gears into the 7.5 rear end only to break it real soon. get a good 8.8 rear out of a junkyard if need be and then put the new gears and stuff in it instead.
