Know how to install a quarter window?
My car got broken into last night, the passenger side quarter window got busted out. After I revived from passing out when I heard the estimate was $675.00, I called every salvage yard on the planet, and a new window is is on it's way overnight for $75. Oh yeah it's a 2002 coupe. So, my prevailing question is.......anyone here know how to install one? We're going to give it a try tomorrow, my boyfriend has installed windows before, but not on a Mustang. Just looking for some tips to help make the process easier. I have searched all over the internet and can't find a relevant site.
This comes right on the heels of a carwash disaster, so I'm pretty P.O'd right now. Last week I took my Stang to an automatic carwash (I know, flog me) but I have an injury and I can't hand wash it. The carwash apparatus (one brush on each side, you know what I mean) literally RIPPED the rear (stock) bumper from the corners - now my bumper looks like it has "wings" on each side. I don't have to tell you how much it will cost to replace.
I'm suing the carwash owner in small claims. We'll see how it goes.
That was just a rant...but if you have any comments on the window, please, please reply!
Thanks
