Default T-Bird T5 the same as Mustang?

I was wondering if a 1352-155 T5 out of a T-Bird is the same as a 1352-162 or a 1352-194 out of an 87-90 2.3 Mustang?

As far as I can tell, they have identical gear ratios and input shaft lengths. The only difference is with the speedo drive gear.

Are the same in terms of shifter location and mounting points?

If its a 2.3 t-bird yes theyre the same (up to 88, t-bird is on the foxbody platform). Everything should be in the same location. Should be a direct bolt in, unless youre trying to hook up a 2.3 t-5 to a 5.0. Which can be done butyou needa custom pilot bushing/bearing.
