How to look for parts
Hey guys,
I still don't have Haynes manuals and such and I'm a real newbie when it comes to the 5.0.
I'm working on a Mark VII LSC (Future 5.0 Mustang donor) and there are two parts I'd like
you guys to help me with. 1. I would REALLY want a solid aftermarket fuel rail. But since this
is mainly for cosmetics, I'm looking at low price as my main objective.
2. This I don't know for sure what it is. Looking from the front into the engine bay on the left front part of the lower intake
manifold ( just behind the coolant water main opening) the is a pipe the is screwed into the lower mani.
It has something to do with heating I think. Twin pipes run along the left side of the manifold to the back,
where they attach to rubber hosing. That is the part I need, because the one on the car is REALLY REALLY
rusted.
Anyone can help me out on those two parts?
Thanks, Xander

RE: How to look for parts
it's a cooling tube which feeds the heater core, and may a have a coolant temp sensor mounted to it somewhere, you would probably have to locate one at ajunyard or try to order one from a lincoln dealership parts department, you can price out fuel rails at

just click on the left side of the webpage that says make model search and go from there.
