It's pointless to turbo a DX... are you sure it's the stock engine? I know a guy with an EX Civic that's turbo'd with a few other bolt-ons and he runs low 14s I believe.</P>

 

it's stock, where it counts. head rotating assembly, no major mods. just ignition some cam gears (dont know if he has a cam) stock clutch also i beleive.

 

he should have put his money to swap in a b16 or 18 or maybe even gone with a good ol h22. If he is running nitrous and can only get a 15.7 his car his a peice or he sucks at driving.

yeah i had a guy with a 89 civic si wanting to race me............ i asked him which of my 3 mustangs did he want to race and he backed down. although one stang (90 gt) doesnt have an engine, he was still intimidated and he stopped talking about racing me. <IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">

heh yeah welcom to williston ND, Home of the ricers the other day a mini van tried to race me that had"exhaust" and then a saturn for god sakes that has a fart muffler pulls up to me and was like ooo ill kick your *** i looked hat him and was like uhh if i get an rc remote can i drive you? IT pissed him off so bad it was great

 

Depending on what you drive, there are a few Saturns that could probably give you a run. ION Redline is coming out next year... S/Ced 200hp<IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">

 

BTW a stock dx will run a 15.7, get the right driver in there and it can happen.</P>


And this guy is running 8 psi on a dx, he may be able to pull a low 14, or even a 13.90. thats about it.</P>


Dont underestimate hondas that are turboed. they arent 1/4 mile cars, at all. FWD SUCKS IN THE 1/4. If ur racing from a roll, the civic just may take you.</P>
