so i've got the car almost ready for the next season of racing.......the only thing that I need help with is the battery box.....the car is a hatch and some people I talk to say I need a poly(plastic) sealed box others say a steel(alum) box(sealed) with a vent tube(no matter what box I use it will be vented to the outside).........the box I have is alum. the marking say it is NHRA approved for car with no firewall between the driver and the battery(sealed)......will this do, or should I get a poly box?????(I only want to do this once) thanks...

 

Sounds like the box you have should be fine as long as it is NHRA aproved.
